Enter the star key four times to hear the Interactive Voice Response Menu. Do not press any
other keys until you hear the Linksys configuration menu. Please enter the desired menu option
followed by the # (pound) key or hang up to exit.
100# DHCP Client status (i.e. whether or not unit obtains IP via DHCP). On the adapter, this will
announce WAN connection type.
101# Change DHCP Client. Options are 0 for Static IP, 1 to enable DHCP. On the adapter, there is also
option 3 for PPPoE.
110# Announce IP address of your adapter. On the adapter, this will announce the WAN IP address.

Assign adapter a static IP address. On the adapter, this will change the WAN IP address. Enter the
IP address, replacing dots in IP with the star key, and ending the entry with #. For example, the IP
address 192.168.0.10 would be entered as 192*168*0*10#

121# Set netmask of adapter, similar to static IP above. For example, the netmask 255.255.255.0 would

Set Primary DNS Server IP Address. Enter the IP address using numbers on the telephone

Web-based Utility.

Press 0 to select the NAT mode. Press 1 to select the bridge/switch mode.
If the phone adapter acts as the router for your network, use the router/NAT mode.
If your network already has a router, use the bridge/switch mode.
